Do not take more or less of it or take it more often than prescribed by your doctor. Do not stop taking bromocriptine suddenly without talking with your doctor. It could make your condition worse.If you are taking bromocriptine for amenorrhea, it usually takes 6-8 weeks for a menstrual period to occur.
